Butterfly mosaic project 

Create a mosaic butterfly on MOSboard using the mosaic direct, push-in, MOSaic on Mesh (MOM Method), & 3D Pique Assiette Floristry.  A wide range of materials (tesserae) is used including slate, shells, MOS milli, feeler bling, mirror, smalti, vitreous mosaic glass tiles, stained glass, wine bottles etc. 

MOSaic makers will learn to use mosaic adhesives such as Weldbond (PVA), Prep Glue, Laticrete thinsets (cement-based adhesive) and grout using Laticrete PermaColor sanded grout. 

The mosaic butterfly base is shaped from MOSboard (lightweight mosaic substrate) but this may be substituted with cement-sheeting if desired. 
This course is intended to bring a variety of mosaic techniques and materials to beginners to mosaic making and some great tips & tricks to experienced mosaic makers.
